Societies/exerter uni
Hi if you do a course at exerter but at the cornwall campus can you still join societies which are at the main exerter campus as I am aware that the exerter campus in cornwall barely has any societies

Im guessing you wouldn’t join Exeter uni societies because you wouldn’t be able to go to them as you’d be in Cornwall? Maybe ask on a platform like unibuddy or email the uni if you can find an appropriate email contact for this matter. Id also be interested to know about this so if you find out do let me know 🙂

Hi Ghgfhgfff, thanks for your question.
Generally you would not join Exeter-based societies as a student at the Penryn Campus. Our students at our Penryn Campus are part of a different student union which is shared with Falmouth University, and through which they can access a range of over 150 different sports clubs and societies. You can find a full A-Z list of these here. As a student at the Cornwall Campus myself I've been involved in a range of sports like 5-a-side football, American football and kayaking, and a range of societies such as Expedition society, Eco Soc and Wild Doc Soc. As with many Student Unions, if you feel there is a society you wish to join that does not exist you can also gain support to start your own society too. Is there anything specifically you were interested in joining, and I can help signpost you to specific societies of interest?
