No I dont feel that that’s fair at all, however there are legal routes to acquiring a textbook if the user is unable to purchase it. School libraries are able to lend books to students, students on pupil premium are entitled to free books in some schools, you can get second hand textbooks for a fraction of the price in charity shops etc. i am aware that students will illegally download copies of textbooks however i do not advocate for wrong-doing regardless of its roots in societal issues 🙂 And that’s without considering that free textbook downloads can be scam bait…
