Have look on YouTube for campus tour films for each Uni - they are all very different and it depends what Uni environment will suit your needs the best.

Hi there,

I’d recommend choosing the UK degree transfer program over the University of London external degree, especially since you’ve mentioned universities like UEA (University of East Anglia) as potential transfer options. Here’s why I think that:

A UK degree transfer program offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the British university experience, which is a huge advantage both academically and socially. Attending a UK university on campus gives you better access to resources, networking opportunities, and student support systems, which can be crucial for your future career. Law firms often value students who have had direct exposure to the university environment.

If you’re considering UEA, it’s a well-regarded law school with a top 20 ranking in the UK for law and a strong employability program. It has a great student support network, law-specific career fairs, and offers opportunities like mooting and pro bono work through the UEA Law Clinic, which can help you stand out to future employers.

In terms of career prospects, employers are likely to prefer a student with a UK campus-based degree, especially from a well-established law school like UEA or Liverpool, compared to an external degree.

If you can, go for the transfer option. It will give you a more enriching experience, better connections within the legal field, and a stronger foundation to build your career. Plus, Norwich is a lovely, vibrant city that many students enjoy living in.

I’d say go for UEA or one of the other transfer options if you want a well-rounded university experience and better career prospects.

Hello @hibamk

Thank you for your question. I would highly advise that you fully research both programmes and decide which one will be most suitable for you. This may be in terms of the locations, the course content and even the living and course costs. University league tables can also be helpful, but should not be used as a sole resource for deciding on universities. If you are able to visit the universities in person, I would highly advise this.

I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please do let me know.
