Can I apply for a sixth university on top of UCAS?

I've used all my five choices on UCAS, my application's been sent and I've received all the emails back from the universities. The closing deadline is still a month away, and I've just found a course that I wasn't previously aware of before that I'd really like to apply for but my UCAS application is unchangeable. Am I still able to apply directly for this other course or is five the maximum? I'm worried for some reason if I do without UCAS I could be penalised and they all get withdrawn.... help please!

Hi,

I think it would be best if you look into UCAS Extra as it offers you to add an additional (sixth option) to you application, in certain situations that is. Hope this helps.

Unless this is within 14 days of receiving your initial UCAS acknowledgement, you cannot change your 5 selected Unis.

If this 'new' course is at one pf the Unis you have already applied to you can contact them to ask for a course switch.

You cannot apply to UK Unis outside of UCAS.

What is the course/university?

Is it at one of your 5 universities?
