Applications for economics and management undergraduate degree at KCL

I am currently in year 12 and studying 4 A-levels (Maths, Economics, History and Spanish), I haven’t done any proper mock exams yet but my somewhat arbitrary predicted grades after my first term in sixth form are AAAB (B in maths).
I think I am able to, by the end of year 12, push my predicted grades up to an A maths and an A* in economics, which my teachers say I am capable of. My GCSE grades are all 7 or above, with a 9 in history and Spanish but 7s in maths and economics; I could retake maths to get a 9. Additionally, I have quite a strong extracurricular CV including 3 online courses, could get related work experience at HSBC, DofE, live TEDx talk, professional sports and more. I’m not sure to what extent this is important for an application at Kings.
Considering this, will I be able to make a competitive offer for economics and management or a finance related degree at KCL? If not, would I stand a better chance at applying for a different degree considering my grades? Or a different University like UCL as I’ve heard that they place more emphasis on personal statements.
Thanks

If you get the grades and write a decent ps you'll be fine tbh. All 7+ in GCSE is great, and I don't think Kings cares that much about GCSEs anyway so don't waste time and money resitting. (I'm not sure how they view resits as well)

Things like DofE and professional sports aren't that important cuz unis care mostly about supercurricular so don't spend too much time on that. Work experience and TEDx talks sounds like a good plan tho  (I'm y13 and applied for econ at uni this year and regret not doing these things in y12 lol)

If you're considering UCL, it's definitely more competitive Kings but nobody can really tell you your chances. UCL doesn't have an E&M course as far as I'm aware, and most of their econ courses require an A* in maths (ik since I applied here) so keep that in mind when applying. So if you get the A level grades you need, you could apply to both UCL and Kings  just pick one saftey uni since they're both very competitive.

As long as u have solid grades, and a solid personal statement, you've got a chance at all top unis. There is a basis of luck, I'd say. I say this because last year I got offers from LSE and UCL but not from kings for econ. Good luck
