Can’t stop talking about partner

This is a bit of a strange post but the title explains it, once I mention him to others I can’t stop talking about him only. And I feel like I just need to bring him up sometimes because I love him. He said he doesn’t mind but in general before we were dating he said doesn’t really like telling other people that he’s dating someone and hardly does it himself. Help!! It’s been 5 months like this and I feel hella annoying for it, I think it also annoys my friends but they’re trying to be nice about it How do I stop bringing him up so much??
