Has any mature student applied to Selwyn college successfully?

I am considering whether to apply to Selwyn college but my impression is that they don't seem to prefer to consider mature students favourably.

Apart from mature colleges, colleges like Christ have clear section on their website stating they welcome mature students, but Selwyn does not.

When I wrote to them they seem to not really prefer mature students.

That's why I'll like to hear from anyone who have successfully applied to Selwyn college Cambridge, and if possible what qualifications did u use?

Yes, Selwyn are fine with mature students. I went there twice as a mature student. They do take a lot of MSt students, I don't know if that means they take slightly fewer full-time mature students, but I don't think so. They are a very good College for mature students, they take a sensible view of where you are in life etc.

I used professional experience and a recent Masters.

Thanks for your comments, and that's good to hear. Unfortunately, I'm planning to apply for an undergraduate place. I'm pretty sure for Masters, most students will be "mature". I'm just not sure whether to apply to them for undergrad

Mature if you are 21, 22, 23 etc won't make any difference at any College, they are all fine, the age difference is irrelevant. If you are more like 31, 32, 33 or even older then you are better finding a College that treats mature students like adults, not like standard undergrads. Selwyn is one of those.
