KCL dentistry

If I apply with 988877777666 (but the 9 is a resit in physics which was originally a 7) in GCSEs and 3200 Band 1 UCAT, with A* A* A predicted. What chance do I have at KCL dentistry ???
Would I also have a chance at Manchester, QMUL, Leeds and Sheffield for dent??
Btw I went to a grammar school where are the average gcse grade was an 8

I think you have a really good chance for KCL considering you have a very high ucat score. For GCSE's they will only look at your top 8 GCSE's so all your grades will be 9's, 8's and 7's.
I think you have a really good chance of getting those interview offers with those stats.
Just remember to stay optimistic and you will be fine.
Le me know if you need any help with anything! (currently a first year dental student at Leeds)

Hello, I got 2 7's and the rest 6's at GCSE's and i am currently in year 12. So far, I am predicted 2 A's and an A star but I also have good UCAs points for music. I will ensure I get a good UCAT score and I have also volunteered at a pharmacy, dental clinics and a hospital. Please can you give me advice on whether I Should still go for dentistry and if school such as Newcastle and Leeds will not consider my application due to my GCSE's.
Thank you

Make sure you check the GCSE requirements for every university that offers dentistry (I think there is about 16). From there you can eliminate a few like Birmingham I think you need an 8 in GCSE chemistry but other unis don't care. So I think first just make a list of unis that will accept you GCSE's and then you have a clear idea. If you are passionate about dentistry I definitely think you should keep going and not give up. Focus on your levels and your UCAT and be don't give up. Main advice I would give from my experience is to not give and keep going even when it gets really tough. Good Luck x

Hii i emailed king and they said they accept gcses resits but would just make me less competitive. My original gcses were 9887665554 and i resits four to 9999888754
And i have got an UCAT of 3100 band one, predicted A*AA is it still worth applying?
Since kings put sm weight ong gcses and i resits few of them too.
