Can I leave out my AS grades since I’m going to do the full A level anyway?

I’m applying to unis on ucas now. But my As grade is bad and I’m retaking it in the summer along with my A2 so that’s basically just doing a whole A level. So there isn’t really a point of declaring my AS grades right now right?

No. You are required to declare everything, no matter how good/bad it was.

The unis do check and if they find out, it could mean anything from no offer/a redacted offer to the complete cancellation of your UCAS application.

But since I’m retaking the AS exam wouldn’t it be inaccurate as Its probably going to change in tbf retake?

No. You put your achieved AS'level grade with the date you took it and then you put it again in the future (e.g. May/June 2025) with a grade of pending. You'd also put your A'level grade and date as pending and in the future, respectively.

Thank you so much! Very precise and helpful
Double check with your exam centre whether they will recertify the AS result.

Centres will usually only certify AS module resits against the full A level grade which would mean no new AS grade.

I’m guessing no? I might go check on the CIE website and see what they say
