Meeting a guy for the first time
I am meeting a guy for the first time after talking for agesss, this weekend. I have never met a guy before “ i am muslim” so the intentions of this are for marriage ofcourse

My advice would be meet with a mahram, have your wali go with you or your brother to meet the guy. Between a man and a woman alone the 3rd person would be shaitan. May Allah protect you. Ameen

I barely have any male mahrams. I have no brother and my dad isn’t the ideal father figure. My uncles are not close

Initial meeting went really well. But we decided to go no contact and leave it for the sake of allah as we didn’t want it to progress into haram. If i’m honest, it was very very hard at first but 2 months later i’m really not feeling it anymore and i’m glad it went like that. Maybe we will reunite or maybe allah swt has better written for us. Alhamdullilah always

Aww I had a similar situation happening to me in the past but all irl. It's sad. The problem is I can't forget about it. And it's been 3 years since. Was marriage not an option for you two?
