UCL Economics or Economics and Statistic

Hello everyone, I am hesitating between UCL Economics and Economics and Statistics. What are the main differences between these two programs? How are they perceived in the world of finance? Which one is better for pursuing a career in IB or S&T?

UCL Economics and Economics & Statistics are both robust, quantitative programs that offer promising finance prospects. Economics emphasizes theory and policy, with strengths in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. With Economics & Statistics, you will enhance your quantitative and modeling skills through more advanced data analysis, probability, and programming. In Investment Banking (IB), both are held in equal regard, but networking and internships are of greater importance. Economics & Statistics offers a distinct advantage for Sales & Trading (S&T) or quant/analyst roles because of its emphasis on technical skills.
