Where do I get Experience

I'm in yr 12 and want to possibly study politics, law or philosophy at uni but I don't know what I can do to gain experience or just anything to spice up my personal statement
Those are all academic degrees. You don’t need work experience.

Instead focus on finding out more about what topics degrees in those subjects include and then doing reading and watching lectures/listening to podcasts relating to those topics that interest you.

You don’t work experience. To explore the subject, Springpod (a free website) has some brilliant mini-modules. FutureLearn is another great one. Enter essay competitions and read books. Good luck.

Hi!

SOAS hosts interactive masterclasses that allow participants to experience university-level discussions while building their critical thinking, public speaking and analytical skills. There are two upcoming session in March (PPE and Law) that sound like they align with your interests.

You can find out more here:
SOAS Law Masterclass
SOAS PPE Masterclass

I hope this helps!
