Deloitte Audit AC London?

Hi guys,

I have an AC coming up for deloitte audit 2025 and I was wondering if anyone has been to it and can recommend me or tell me what sort of questions were asked during the topic discussion and Partners interview.

Hi Taimoor! 👋

Congrats on making it to the Deloitte Assessment Centre (AC) for Audit 2025—that’s an exciting milestone! 🎉 Here’s some guidance to help you prepare for the topic discussion and the Partner interview, so you can walk in with confidence.
The topic discussion is typically a group exercise where you’ll work with other candidates to address a business challenge or scenario. The assessors are keen to see how you collaborate, contribute, and think critically under pressure. Focus on being an effective team player by involving others in the discussion, actively listening, and encouraging quieter participants to share their thoughts. You’ll want to show that you can build on others’ ideas while offering well-reasoned suggestions of your own. Be mindful of the time, and help steer the group towards a solution without dominating the conversation. It’s all about balance—be proactive yet inclusive.

When it comes to the Partner interview, this is your chance to showcase who you are, your motivation for joining Deloitte, and your understanding of the audit role. Expect a mix of questions that explore your skills, experiences, and how you align with Deloitte’s culture. You might be asked about why you’re interested in audit, how you’ve worked in teams, or how you handle challenges like tight deadlines or tricky client interactions. Competency-based questions are common, so think about examples from your past experience that highlight your problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability. For scenario-based questions, they may ask how you would assess risks during an audit or handle uncooperative clients—stay calm, logical, and focused on building trust.

Use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method to structure your answers clearly and concisely. Be genuine, and don’t hesitate to show your enthusiasm for the opportunity—Partners love seeing someone who’s eager to learn and contribute. At the end, you’ll likely get a chance to ask your own questions, so prepare thoughtful ones about Deloitte’s audit approach, team dynamics, or professional growth opportunities within the firm.

Remember, the assessors aren’t just evaluating your technical knowledge—they’re looking for someone who can bring strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a willingness to grow into the role. Take some time to practice mock interviews, review Deloitte’s values, and think about how your unique experiences align with their culture.

Best of luck—you’ve got this! If you’d like more tips or help preparing, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re rooting for you to ace it! 🌟
