GCSE'S for medicine

Hello ,

I am currently in year 11 and wondering what GCSE's are necessary for medicine . I am thinking about Edinburgh , Bristol , UCL ...

I am currently predicted 8,8,7,8,7,7,7,7,8,8,8 but want to get to all 8s and 9s.

What GCSE'S do you actually need for medicine as i have heard lots of different things ?

Hiya,

I am currently applying for veterinary medicine, but I have many friends who are applying for medicine, and the requirements are quite similar. As most universities require Chemistry as well as one other science at A-Level, I would definitely recommend revising hard for those. Most people go for Chemistry, Biology, and Maths, which are all required for GCSE, so I wouldn't stress about it too much.

I think the best thing for you to do would be to revise as much as possible for your GCSEs and it will pay off in the long run. Good luck!!
