Hi, I don't study Natural Sciences but thought I could point you in the right direction for answers and help.

Ask a Student - Lancaster University - If you follow this link and filter by degree level and area of study, you will be able to chat with current Natural Science students and ask them more about the course and their experience.
In terms of Lancaster itself, here is the link to read stories from students about their experiences of living and studying at Lancaster - Digital Ambassadors - Lancaster University. Lancaster is such a wonderful city and the campus is just amazing, it has everything you could need from shops, cafes, bars, gym etc. The library is open 24/7 and everyone has their favourite places to study on campus be that in the library or quieter spots in Management School, LEC Atrium or the college common rooms. There is even a woodland walk around the edge of campus!! Each college has their own teams and each year events and competitions are put on for the colleges to face each other in things from quizzes, baking, sports days etc. The city is well connected in terms of transport too so getting home and day trips are very accessible.
