Ah same here. Well honestly you have very good scores! I assume your also international fee status ? And you feel you did well in the lnat?
I think you definitely have a good chance of getting in but also, to be fully honest, even though you have good scores others do also so it comes down also to you other performances (lnat /personal statement), but you do definitely still have a good chance! Have you applied to a safety (or do you have safer options in another country)?

Thanks for your reply, believe my LNAT should be OK as haven’t rejected by KCL so far, as taken the LNAT in early Oct. Unfortunately the above 4 were all my applied, none can be regard as safety…

Forget to mention, I have to pay the full international fee, haven’t applied any financial aids and thinking my PS shall be good enough. Just a bit worrisome that haven’t heard anything so far other than rejection by Oxford

I think that your scores are good and that not being rejected is a very good sign so at the moment no news is good news (I’m hoping that for myself also). Most probably you should get into one of the ones you applied to at least, because your scores are rly good and also they all look at slightly different things outside of the scores (if I understood correctly, although again these are all speculation, for kcl it’s lnat score, for ucl it’s lnat essay, for lse it’s ps) . Also wouldnt worry about the Oxford rejection, they reject over half of applicants and it’s almost impossible to thé interview (they give out much fewer interviews than Cambridge). Also think that anyone who applied to the same unies and got accepted to Oxford will probably choose Oxford therefore freeing up space for more people at the other unies

Got offers from UCL and KCL, rejected from Oxford, still awaiting LSE.

Hello,

Would you consider applying for Law at York. We stand out against the other universities beause we offer Problem Based Learning.

Let us know if you have any questions,

E.

Congrats on your offers. I suggest that you go to UCL. I am a bit biased because I teach on the LLM course there, but I think that UCL, Oxford, and Cambridge are the three best law schools in the UK. If you don't fancy UCL, I would choose KCL over the LSE for a better student experience, basing my view on discussion with a friend who teaches law at the LSE.

PS: It may go without saying that applying to York when you already have offers from UCL and KCL could be considered a tad whacky.

As a practising lawyer who also teaches law, I am not altogether convinced by the problem based learning thing. First, it is likely that every undergraduate law course sets problem questions for students. Secondly, the student law firm thing sounds a bit like role playing, and I am not persuaded that LARPing the law is a good way to learn the law.
