In any event, in the current market, you may not get to choose which type of legal work you do, at least at the start of your career. Most aspirant lawyers don't obtain jobs in the legal professions. Those that do obtain such jobs may have to do whatever type of work they can obtain.
I’d say the best field of law to choose depends entirely on your interests, strengths, and career goals. If you’re passionate about business and finance, corporate law might be a great fit. If you care about social justice and helping individuals, consider human rights or family law. Those with an analytical mind might enjoy intellectual property or technology law, especially with the growing focus on AI and data protection. Research the fields, attend career talks, and try internships to see what resonates with you. Ultimately, the best choice is the one that aligns with your passion and where you see yourself making an impact. Ultimately it's dependant on your viewpoint and interest!
