Aunt says I’m not allowed to have long hair

So my aunt has a daughter who’s my cousin. Last year she let me dye my hair and grow it long even though she was hesitant and unwilling because she was depressed her mother died. So she basically let me have very long waist length hair. Before this, she would never ever let me grow my hair, I’m not allowed to do bleach my hair or anything. Just a chin length black frizzy bob. Now I’m not saying I want male attention at all yeah but listen. In high school all the boys looked awful so I mean no boy looked at me and that didn’t matter since they were all ugly . In sixth form no one noticed either again I don’t care. The minute I grew my hair out much longer and I was allowed to wear whatever I want not anything revealing normal teenage clothes than a very long skirt or a sweater with boots, 3 boys started liking me all at the same time, another two flirted.

I’m saying this is proof that me growing my hair out and bleaching and straightening is proof I look good. So she cuts it for the past 15 years every 4 months saying look u have split ends, we need to cut them! That’s nasty! When she wants long hair and wants bleached hair but because she can’t do those things since her hair is very short she won’t let me.

So now it’s been a year since her mom died and now she’s all happy and has a partner and now she Began to do it again. I cried so much and even her daughter who’s very mean felt bad and said yeah don’t cut her hair which was very surprising, I begged her and said let this be a present for me since u never bought me anything. She says u don’t need any presents, im cutting ur hair short again. After 6 whole months of beautiful hair, im depressed.
I've read this three times and I still don't understand what's going on here.

Who are you talking about right now... your aunt, or your cousin? It kind of sounds like you're talking about your aunt, as the title of the thread mentions aunt, and in the final paragraph you mention the daughter (presumably your cousin?) but in this case what was the point of mentioning the cousin the first sentence of the first paragraph - she seems to be virtually irrelevant to the story.
Unless the person cutting your hair is actually the cousin, and the daughter in the bottom paragraph is your cousin's daughter, and the person who died is the aunt?

Regardless of whether you're talking about your aunt or your cousin, what do they have to do with your hair? Do you live with your aunt / cousin? Does this person have guardianship of you?

You're saying you're not allowed to bleach your hair. Bleach is very bad for your hair you know.

This sentence: "When she wants long hair and wants bleached hair but because she can’t do those things since her hair is very short she won’t let me." What are you talking about? Genuinely didn't understand this at all, it was like you were speaking in tongues here.

How old are you? Once you're 18, your head is legally yours. No more forced haircuts.

I suggest buying a wig in the meantime and wearing it when she's not around. There are some great super natural looking wigs out there.
