Btec student/alevel maths private candidate ucas application

I’m currently in Year 13, studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering at college, while also self-studying A-Level Maths.

I’m in the final stages of completing my UCAS application and need some guidance on how to include my A-Level Maths in the education section. I’ll be sitting the exam at my college’s sixth form in June, but since I’m self-studying and not attending formal classes, I don’t have a specific start date.

How should I go about adding this information to my application? Any advice would be much appreciated!

The general advice I seen given here on TSR by people more knowledgeable than myself is to list yourself as attending part-time, with a start date (and end date, if necessary) which tallies with the exam period itself.

Thank you for your reply!
I see what you mean, but I still found it a bit confusing. They ask for the following details:

Start date

End date

Attendance type (Full-time, Part-time, Exam only)

Study mode (Online or In-person)

I think the best course of action is to contact the Sixth Form where I’ll be sitting the exam to clarify how to fill this in.
Thank you again for your time and advice!
