When are cold sores contagious?
Hi, so Ive been with my partner about 3 months and recently they told me they get cold sores and I've never had them. is it likely that I will catch them orally/genitally or only when they have a flare up? Unsure how to approach this

Cold sores are contagious from the moment you first feel tingling or other signs of a cold sore coming on to when the cold sore has completely healed. They can easily spread to other people and other parts of your body.
