Is it too early to start practicing for the UCAT

Hiya!
I see people saying that they start revising about 8 weeks before the ucat. Would it be wise for me to start practicing questions 7 months prior to my exam? I'm conscious about burnout but how could I go about preventing this? Am i right in thinking the more work i do on it the better my score will be?
Thanks!

You can start early but dont overdo it, maybe a couple of hours/week in the beginning and full on in the last 2-3 months, dont forget your predicted grades are important as well.

Great, thank you so much, how do you recommend I go about revision in the early stages?

Subscribe to medify and in my opinion that’s the best one, you get low scores in the mocks but higher in the actual test.

Id say theres no need to start prep now, starting in summer is more than enough time but prep will just be intense. Looking at a few past papers now and trying to improve skills over time slowly by reading more, practicing speed reading, quick mental maths and doing logic puzzles on ur phone is more than enough. Also i recommend medentry just cuz its more similar to the actual exam but its all personal preference tbh. Dont forget to use the official mock exams on the ucat website. Good luck!

Are you applying to AUS unis? If so, no its not too early.

If you're applying to UK unis I would say its pretty early for prep.

Maybe just get familiar with the exam and try a some questions, I wouldn't do any timed practice or even think about mocks this far out, again as long as your applying to UK unis .
