Given a payslip but haven't been paid.

I got my payslip for about £288 via email about a week ago but there has been no money deposited in my account. I have also been taxed, though I checked and I do not qualify for PAYE taxing. I have already had issues with this payment and would hate to bother payroll again, is there a way I can sort this on my own?

Do you know when your payday is usually for the month....... Just incase you are paid at the end of each month which means you will be paid early due to Christmas.

You'll have to contact Payroll department at your employer or discuss it with your immediate manager asap to try and get it resolved quickly for you ( yeah they can basc pay you there and then but some employers will try and get you to wait until the next month payday but don't let it be).

Hello,

It may be taking longer because of Christmas and New Year and so it may be paid slightly later than usual. In the worst case scenario, it may be paid at the end of January but it depends on the type of job and how you get paid.

Hope this helps, if you have any further questions please do let me know.

Does it say a pay date on the payslip (just in case you get the payslip in advance).
Id speak to the payroll people. They are the only people who know whats going on and why the money hasnt gone into your account.

You need to check what date you should have been paid -- payslips can and do get issued in advance of your pay date, though a week in advance does seem like rather a long time.

Have you checked that your employer has the correct bank details for you? (Have they paid previous pay to you by bank transfer?)

Have you checked with colleagues as to whether they have been paid, and if so on what date the money arrived in their accounts?

Regarding being taxed -- what tax code is showing on your payslip? It will normally be 1257L -- but does the code end in 'W1' or 'M1'; or is it something different like '0T' or 'BR' ?
