Hey,

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve faced, but it’s great to hear that you’ve recovered and are ready to catch up on your studies. It sounds like you’ve taken all the right steps by submitting an appeal with strong supporting evidence. These will likely carry significant weight in your case, as universities generally aim to support students facing genuine health-related challenges.

While I can’t predict the outcome, your appeal seems well-prepared, and universities are often understanding when presented with documented evidence of unavoidable circumstances. The fact that you’ve recovered and feel confident about catching up will also work in your favour, as it shows you’re ready and able to resume your studies.

It might help to contact your department or personal tutor to explain your situation. They may be able to provide guidance on accessing resources or materials to help you get a head start on catching up.

Also, consider reaching out to your university’s support services, such as the students’ union or an academic advisor, to get advice on navigating this process and managing any academic pressures. At the University of Salford, we have personal tutors and a wide range of support teams to assist in situations like this, so I’d recommend checking if your university offers something similar.

You might also want to connect with students in your course, perhaps via group chats or forums, to stay up to date on key topics and assignments. This can give you a sense of the workload ahead and help ease the transition back if your appeal is successful.

In the meantime, focus on your health and stay positive. It sounds like you’ve done everything you can to make a strong case, and I hope the appeal process works out in your favour.

Best of luck!

hi, it's sorry to hear that but I am in the similar situation, may I ask for the outcome of your appeal? I’m struggling with how to predict the outcome of my appeal.
