Cambridge University MPhil in Advanced Computer Science

I’m a potential 2028/2029 applicant from India. I’ve been deeply interested in Computer Science for quite some time now. Currently, I’m in the final semester of my Diploma and plan to pursue a B.Tech through lateral entry via the JELET exam.
However, I’m extremely stressed about my choice of university, its placements, and how these factors might impact my chances of securing admission into a master’s program at Cambridge—if I ever qualify and become eligible.
I also want to improve my math skills, as I feel they are crucial for my academic growth and aspirations. Additionally, I’m worried about what kind of extracurricular activities and resume elements could make my application stand out, especially considering the sheer volume of applicants for Computer Science master’s programs abroad.
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
