Maintenance loan (distance learning)

Could someone please advise - I'm in my final year of a Level 5 Professional Dip in a Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and I'm looking to do a Bsc Counselling top up - Leeds beckett uni one year full time distance learning only.

As this isn't the typical OU and it's classed as full time I wanted to see if that affects being able to get a maintenance loan? Many thanks

Hi Danni,

Since this course is distance learning you won't be entitled to a Maintenance Loan, unfortunately.

If you're studying distance learning due to a disability, however, you may be eligible for a Maintenance Loan, so let us know if that applies to you.
