NCS personal statement

Hi does anyone have any advice of what makes a rather compelling personal statement for NCS sixth form
Also does it hold large value in terms of admissions or do they value predicted grades more?

I'm also applying to NCS this year. Can't really help you with the first part but from what I know for admissions these types of sixth forms value grades more than your personal statement. Personal statement is just to get to know what kind of student you are.

Hi, I applied to NCS last year and got in, from what i know, the personal statement is mainly for selecting people for taster day. Even if you go to taster day, you won't necessarily have a greater chance of getting in- it's mainly based on grades

Alhamdudillah I'm at ncs rn and I believe writing the personal is quite important, cuz they sent me 2 emails saying that my personal statement was very good and another one saying they'd usually give me an offer, but this year they can't and saying there's a "strong chance" should I meet the grade requirements. I think my statement is quite so if you'd like you could pm add my discord (qxzi_) and I'll send over my personal statement and hobbies essays, in sha Allah. I believe the personal statement is quite important so good luck with your application! Lmk if u need any help

As a current student of NCS, I didn’t even do a personal statement. Your grades hold all the weight

I was all 9s and a 6 in French…. We don’t talk about french… anyways if you want to take any main subject like sciences you need an 8 or 9 everything else has to be 7+

Hi sorry for all the question but does NCS give bursary (for travel) and also I currently study 6GCSEs alongside IT Level2 and Engineering Level2. Do you think I would still be able to apply? I emailed the school but they never gave a reply.
I saw that one of the students on the website had only 6 GCSEs as well so I was curious.

Why? I have heard great things about NCS although I know there will lots of pressure and competition (I don't mind)
