GCSEs for med/dent

I got 888877555 at gcse is that good enough or do the 5s ruin it

Yes this is good enough for medicine / dent, it will just limit your options on where you can apply.

Just make sure you apply strategically, as if you apply to unis which heavily use GCSEs, such as Cardiff Medicine, you will be rejected.

Do good in your A-Levels and UCAT and research the unis selection process before you apply.

I’ve applied with one less 7 than you and I’ve got 4 interviews. It’s all about making sure you reach the minimum requirements and strategically applying you can definately do it.
