Hello Year 13s and hello 2025! :ahee:

For those of you who have or will be applying, you can finally say that this year is the year you're due to start your university journey, and with that comes a lot of decision-making. :beard:

We want to hear from you! for your top uni choice, what’s the plan for accommodation? Are you packing your bags and moving away, staying at home, or keeping things flexible? And most importantly, what’s driving your decision?

Moving away for all! Like @iL1L I want the full experience (London gets boring when you've spent your whole life there), but also, for me its a matter of some of the best unis being out of London, the only one I was interested in attending in London was KCL, but I wasn't going to spend my next three years living in London just to go to KCL. Home life is not always the greatest for me and I need my own room (I'm planning to live on campus at uni) so that was another important factor for me. For reference, my application was to, Oxford (Astrophoria Foundation Year)/Durham/Exeter/Southampton/Nottingham Trent - so far I have received offers from both Exeter and Nottingham Trent, still waiting for the other three to respond or, in Durham's case, for me to take the LNAT.

Edit 05/01/25: I have received an offer from Southampton!
Edit 19/04/25: I forgot to update that I also received an offer from Durham . Waiting on one more.

Congratulations on your offer!

Thank you ! I was also surprised that they offered me a lower offer than I originally thought I would get.
