Med clearing… What do i do??

Hey everyone,

So I found out from one my unis that they rejected me because i need 5 7s and i was gonna use my NCFE technical qualification as my 5th 7 but nobody cared about that (so yay 2 years i wasted doing that when nobody even considers that…) but anyways, i’ve yet to hear from aston a100 and kings a101. Hyms rejected me too but they didnt say why and im assuming its bc of gcses, ive asked for feedback though. I’ve mentally prepared myself I’ll need to go through clearing. What do i acc do for clearing? How do i do it? I honestly dk wht it is. I have one safe back up offer but i dont really want that. I’ve swapped hull york and keele med for biomed science. But idk if ill get an offer bc my PS is all med. im in a rlly tough spot rn, pls help me someone, what am i supposed to do on clearing and will i have to give up my back up offer if i do clearing?

Thanksss

what did you end up doing?

normally when medicine is in clearing it requires the same grades so you could have a look at the ones that have been in clearing/UCAS Extra before to check whether you would meet any of those prior to results day. Biomed courses often understand ppl are applying as a backup to med so I wouldn't think it would be an issue most of the time tbh.
