Unconditional offer for a teaching role?

I applied for the primary teaching with QTS degree at Portsmouth and I have recieved an offer on UCAS. All it says is that: This offer is subject to you obtaining: Please send verification of qualifications to institution. Satisfactory health and police checks will be required. Does this means I have an unconditional offer if I meet the required?

Hi, I just received the same offer today and was wondering if you found out what it meant? I am thinking of emailing the university to find out but thought I would check here first

hey, yes it ended up being an unconditional but obvs due to the dbs check and all that they can’t give you an unconditional because they don’t know what the outcome will be. i called ports admissions and they told me that they are not focusing on my grades and to just upload when i receive them and they will do by dbs check and stuff for me!
