Applying to multiple apprenticeships?

Have you guys ever signed up for more than one apprenticeship, meaning apprenticeships from two completely different sectors of work? Just to increase chances of acceptance (and if you are interested in both sectors)
Just want to know if it’s unusual or not.

people apply to multiple apprenticeships all the time its not unusual at all

do you mean two apprenticeships within the same company because some companies have a policy where they only want you to apply for one within the company and it may get flagged on the system if you apply to more than one, best to reach out to the company in this case for further advise. however applying to multiple apprenticeships from different companies is very common and absolutely recommended just how you would apply to multiple jobs in a job search as you aren't guaranteed to get the first one you apply to especially with apprenticeships being competitive.
