Hello, past GCSE History student here, When it comes to history there is quite a bit of content (this made me very overwhelmed when I was doing history GCSE), so when revising focus on topics you struggle with the most and break the content up into chunks. My personal favourite revision techniques include teaching a parent, a friend or if I'm by myself the wall lol. But by actively thinking things through and bringing out all the information, explaining in a clear format, ext... will really help with exam technique in a way. This way you'll be actively recalling information. Another favourite technique of mine is blurting! Get a piece of paper, and write down everything you can remember about a topic. Then after your done get a different colour and fill in the gaps with your notes (you can make this more challenging if you wanted with time restraints). Do this often and see how it goes. Flash cards are also good. Finding different methods that works for you is the most important, so test different techniques out. You know a method is good when you can remember the things that you previously struggled with. When it comes to resources, I think it depends what exam board your school uses and you could ask your teachers?

I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you need anymore help!

I mean you have really good methods of revising. You could also try acronyms like "politics is who gets what, when and how" as wgwwh. It works for me well.
