Advice needed

Hey guys,

I did my GCSEs this past school year (2024 summer) and sadly didn't pass English (I think I was like only 9 marks from a 4).
I did way more work for it this time around as I only had this to focus on and not 9 other subjects and I also think it was down to huge stress and anxiety aswell.
With resit results day being on Thursday I can't help but think I've not passed it this time around even though I believe I hit all of the criteria (particularly with the question 5s) this time around that I didn't do last time.
I was thinking I'd ask one of my teachers I feel comfortable around to look at my results first (also he does the timetable so I can get him to remove the lesson from my timetable) so they can tell me if I've passed or not and I don't know what to do with my nerves.
Does anyone know of any advice they can give me with regards to leading up to the day and what I should do when I get my results?
Many thanks,
Molly

If you have worked hard for it, then the only thing left to do is to wait patiently. I know we all get anxious about results, but there is no point stressing over the unknown because it is out of your control now. You have done your bit and there is not long left for you to find out.
