Any updates?

Yes, please. For Activity 1, how many IT Service Requirements am I supposed to state? Do I have to be very specific? I looked at the examiner report and a YouTube video; there seem to be way too many requirements for just 8 marks. Am I required to specify PCs, Routers, Switches, CCTV, etc. (around 20 requirements)? Can I just put them together in a way of saying Order Management System, Firewall and Security Appliances, Network Equipment, etc. (around 8 requirements) for organisational needs?

What about for Activity 2, how much do I need to write and what structure do I need to follow for the service description?

For activity 2 you write the functions which are basically different job roles for each row, for example you put manager then underneath what they do, in the exam paper you will see these job roles in a table, then the service names of hardware and software they need to complete job role, then the description where you talk about why they need these IT requirements, so what I would do is 2 small paragraphs 1 for why they need these hardware and another for software. Try and give good detail to get into higher bands. Again look over mark schemes and examiner report on how to smash the high bands

let us know what the job roles are please!! also would you add the restaurant on the customer table on activity 1 because they are kind of like customers but for quik cuisine.

Uhm, for the service description what I done is talked about why they need this and this. I done specific pc specs for everyone for example multi core processor for general manger since they do many tasks and heavy work loads etc. With the service names I wrote as much as I can thst they would need, software I put windows, chrome and others which link back to that job role.

Make sure use your time wisely activity 1 and 2 took me an hour each, where I rushed it towards the end so I can use hour 3 for activity 3, with activity 3 I started the drawing a box for each room then added all the hardware in the middle of the diagram had the router etc. Then I just started on ERD, I'm kind of stuck myself with the ERD just wondering where entities link. Activity 4 I'm starting tommorow aswell talking about appropriateness of hardware, software, legislation then alternatives and finanl conclusion why original solution is better. Then next Monday on my final day, I will do activity 5, which is basically implication report, downtime, costs, training etc, again look at the videos, especially Ron's tech club

Yeah, I just done my first 3 hours right now job roles will be stated in the paper like general manager, office manager, marketing, administrative, IT support, restaurant

i have it tomorrow pray for me man😭 i'm hopless for this if i somehow pull off a distinction in this i can get d*d* in it diploma overall. have u got any tips for it im so lost on it done no revision and thing is about me i find it hard to identify like 10 + threats.

Sweet, for the restaurant would you add that to the customer table? Bc if you think about it they’re like customers
