Should I choose University of Birmingham Or University Of Sheffield for Pharmacy entry 2025???
It wont matter - all MPharm courses cover exactly the same syllabus and all are accredited as equal by the GPhC. All qualify you as a professional Pharmacist, so there is no 'better' or 'best' course. The NHS is not going to care where you trained - and neither will any of your future patients.
Have you been to Open Days at these Unis? Btw, if you already have offers, you will be invited to Applicant Visit days and that is a good opportunity to look around, ask questions and work out where you will feel happiest for the next 4 years.

Hi Deanna,
There are a wide range of factors behind choosing which university to firm. You should consider the type of learning on the module, how much independent learning is required, what the overall city is like and how student life is. I would definitely recommend an Open Day so that you can get a feel for the city and hear more from current students on your course.

I would definitely choose Birmingham as at Sheffield it is a new course. I also heard from one of my mates that also did a course involved in NHS when it first began at Sheffield that because it was a new course it was difficult to find placements for the students so they’d send them to surrounding cities (far) which made it annoying. I don’t think a lot of people are going for Sheffield because of the uncertainty
