ATAS rejection

Hi has anyone here faced a rejection from the ATAS certificate? I have been waiting almost 6 months with no news, which I am guessing means it will be a rejection... please let me know your stories. I am also wondering if I apply to another university for a similar course will I be rejected again? Let me know if anyone has tried this!! thank you

Hi, I have received my ATAS certificate. I applied on the 28th of August. I would like to share my experience. I sent about 5 or 6 follow-up emails, and the response to my last email was as follows:
"Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately, the status of your application remains the same. Please be assured we will chase this application again as a priority.
Once a decision has been reached, we will notify you via email."
The next day, I received my certificate.
"Dear Applicant,

Congratulations! I have been following your ATAS-related comments and posts and am glad you got it in time for your PhD.
When you sent your email, did you get an automated reply or was it something like @anas97meth got?
