Advice

Hi guys,

So i am currently working as a legal assistant and I have graduated in law, not done the LPQ or SQE yet, still deciding.
However, I am not happy where I work, I was wondering would it be worth quitting. I am looking for another job but want advice as to what to do at this time.

Thanks

What is it about where you work now that you're not happy with? Is it the nature of the work itself, or something specific to the firm you're with?

How is the job hunt going? Are there lots of similar roles available elsewhere?

Thanks for your reply.
Its just the colleagues and how they treat others. Its not a healthy environment.

Im trying to find another job but with no luck

Understood. Your original question was about "would it be worth quitting", and it sounds like the answer might be yes - but only once you've found another job to move to.

I think you should keep it continue unless u hunt another job. Bcz u know getting the job is too competitive in legal market. On the other hand professional exams qualifications are necessary for the job.

The only relevant issue is whether your work counts as qualifying work experience (QWE) in case you need to use it using the SQE route. If it does may be best to stick it out and get a sign off just in case you do not obtain a formal TC.
