terrified bc no law offers

im predicted ABB at A Level with 8856554 7-6 in Combined Science, with a very high chance of achieving an A in Psychology A Level. I'm a contextual home student. I applied to Nottingham, York, Cardiff, Surrey, and UCL on the 8th of December.

Does it look like I have any chance of getting in?
You should have a chance everywhere except UCL (their entry requirement for contextual is AAB). I think you'd need the LNAT for UCL as well. You should have a good chance at the others tho

Hello @hufflynn,

The University of Nottingham aims to process applications within three weeks. At peak periods, applications may take up to six weeks to process (this is the first week after the new year, so the processing speed may have slowed down during Christmas!).

Nonetheless, if they require any more information from you to make a decision, they will get in touch with you!

Best of luck,
Abian.

Hiya!

You've got this! If its reassuring at all, universities take a while to process applications. The deadline UCAS gives to unis for them to get back with their decisions is actually in May, but universities usually get back to you much sooner than that!

In terms of your application to Cardiff, I can't say whether you'd get in or not as I'm not part of the admissions team, but you already meet the minimum requirements

Hi @hufflynn
I understand that it can be worrying not to have received any offers yet, but please know that the admissions team are still reviewing applications. Admissions will aim to complete all applications by the end of March, but a result may come sooner! More information found here.

We typically offer a place to those who achieve ABB A-Level grades, which you appear to be on track to achieve so please don't worry. Admissions will reach out to you if they require any additional information, but you can also contact them here if you have any other questions.

I hope that helps, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about uni life or Surrey.

All the best,
Daniel
