University of Strathclyde Withdrawal

I recently applied to the University of Strathclyde through direct application and was given an offer to study (BA Politics and International Relations). I accepted the offer on December 5th. Later I went back on my decision and I ended up withdrawing my offer three days later on December 8th. However, I am still worried that I am somewhat obligated to attend the university. Is that the case?

I sent them an E-mail today asking just that. But I figured I'd get more closure if I post on here as well.

P.S. I made no deposits or payments whatsoever.

Hi @unknownpales 🙂 No, you're not obligated to attend - don't worry about that. If you've withdrawn your application then that should be all you have to do on your end, but if there's anything else required the admissions teams will let you know once they respond. Which email did you get in touch with, and I can check that's the right one? 📧

Hello! That should be ok 🙂 We're just back today following the Christmas break so it may take some time for them to confirm but they'll reply to your email as soon as they can. Let me know if you've not heard anything by the end of this week.
