Hi @Dddfhecctr👋

If you're considering studying Accounting and Finance in South Wales, our course at USW is accredited by some of the world's leading accountancy bodies. These include the ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA and CIPFA.

Our students can gain a CIMA-accredited certificate in Sage, the UK’s biggest accounting software provider. You can also learn from experts in our real-life securities trading room. This opportunity prepares you for a career in the field.

Through the course, you can gain work experience at well-known organisations from three months to a year, which will look great on your CV.

There are also opportunities through our Network75 programme to graduate with a degree, 5 years work experience and no student debt!

Basically the same. The best option would be the one you enjoy and get a lot out of extra curricular activities.

Hi there,

So glad to hear you are considering Cardiff, I'm a student here and love it.
Accounting and Finance at Cardiff has a state of the art trading room "for trading and risk management in a controlled environment equipped with Investor Simulations, TRETS and Bloomberg". And is accredited by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Accreditation and facilities like these are so important for moving forward, employability and experience. Cardiff Business School is also in the top 2% of business schools globally with AMBA re-accreditation.

We also have the 2nd best students' union in the UK, which not only is great for fun and social life, but is also really good for employability, experience and networking. The business based societies, such as Commercial Awareness Society, who host events with employees of large companies and more!

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions please let me know!

Well in either Liverpool or Cardiff you'll be hard pushed to understand the women 🙂 and no one really wants to be in Birmingham especially the Brummies'. Safer to say the lesser of the three evils is Liverpool - Great education and fantastic women 🙂 Good Luck
