how do i take good pictures of myself

bit of a silly question ik
i never take pictures of myself not out of insecurity but genuinely cause i dont know how. (last time was easter lol)
i dont know how to angle it, what lighting to stand in, how to pose, what face do i make etc

Really taking a perfect picture without using editing or stuff like that is just not a thing. “Instagram worthy” pictures are always edited to adjust the lighting and stuff like that.

I guess it helps to take pictures from an up angle. Looking up at the phone,the phone turned slightly. And your lips can be either parted or you can just smile.

The way you smile also a lot of times affect the whole vibe of the photo. Smiling with your teeth is good if you know how to do it right.

But personally I just like to just slightly smirk.

Or you could also do perspective shots to add more fun.
