no contact and good terms

we were on no contact and good terms bc we both mutally felt like we NEEDED to distnace but we didnt want to. november i was blocked on eveything for the entire month which was wierd bc they always left 1 form of communication, ALWAYS. Btw we would always break no contact (mostly them). idk bc i found a bit of peace during this time bc i felt like it was easier to move on bc it made me think that theyre not the person that i once knew. But then start of december they unblocked and apologised and idk wat that all meanss
what are your opinions on this if any of u have experienved the same
It sounds like you're both kind of vacillating. This is pretty normal. There are obviously reasons you guys broke up or you wouldn't have broken up. But there are also reasons you were together in the first place. So y'all have mixed feelings. You want to be in touch because you like each other on some level but also on some level you probably both recognise that it won't work and you need to move on.

If I were in your shoes I would block him, properly go no-contact, and move on entirely. It seems harsh but IMO it ultimately would be the kindest thing to do for both of you.
do you think its harder to be on good terms with someone as opposed to bad terms? I feel like its easier to be on bad terms when you wanna move on from them immd=ediately but in the long run i think good terms is good bc you can establish that you both loved eachother until some point you couldnt give eachother what you needed thats okay. And being on good terms may even allow you to be at peace and be recconect as better friends instead. WHat are your opinions guys?
