I didn't have to do live coding but the interview was quite technical, and went in depth about control theory, and on algorithms about optimal control, based on my past work, like I had to derive equations and so on. I was asked no questions on my research proposal which was on system software, so its understandable given the interview was for my second choice robotics. Overall the interview went okay, so not sure what to expect haha.

Yeah, if it moves from under review by department to something else -- that's a good sign that applications are being processed. Did people here also apply to the MLMI?
