Was it the ACS program coordinator or the Cambridge one?

I think it's ACS one.

Just received informal offer via email. Computer Architecture track, interviewed on 14th Jan.
However, the applicant portal is still showing: "Decision Pending - Your application is currently under review.".

When did it change from ‘Under review by department - Your application is currently under review’ to ‘Decision Pending - Your application is currently under review’?

Reply 62

Has anyone else had the status changed to Decision Pending recently?

Reply 63

Do all these status changes and mails happen during their work hours (9-6) or even later ?

Reply 64

It also seems to be 1 more on grad cafe, so I assume over the next 2 weeks you will know

I think it's this morning. It was still "Under review by department" yesterday.

Congrats to everyone seeing movement! I’m a current student on the MPhil and a few of us have moved to decision pending on our PhD applications. If you have any questions about the MPhil I’ll be happy to answer; hopefully see you in October 🙂

Good luck with the PhD application! This is something you might be able to shed some light on. How is the balance between home and international students (fees)? I saw on the MLMI forum does hitting the funding check boxes negatively impact your application at all?

Does applying for funding affect whether you're being given an offer?

Thanks. So out if 100+ offers, if around 60 accept. Do the other 40 go to ones in some sort of a waitlist ?

You get a conditional offer and you must meet the conditions in order to get accepted.
Not everyone does that. Also you can get multiple offers and some choose Oxford over Cambridge or MLMI over ACS. Some can't get funding. And so on. Therefore the difference between offers and acceptances.

No I meant, if people who were offered didn't accept, are those seats left empty or do others in the waitlist get selected? Is there a status for waitlist in the portal?
