Sitting the Cambridge STEP Mathematics for Imperial admissions ?

Hi,
I'm sitting the (ESAT) soon and I'll be applying for Imperial College in Mechanical Engineering.
I know that I'm not going to score well at (ESAT) due to insufficient preparation.

So, on the hindsight, I'm wondering if Imperial College would consider me sitting the Cambridge STEP tests to demonstrate a good level of 6th form Mathematics and beyond.

What do you think about Cambridge STEP ? Would it be an asset for admissions ? Or a waste of time and energy ?
I'm so onto Imperial.
Thanks

Its (step 2) not listed as an option/alternative for esat for admission, so Id guess its unlikely to be accepted. But theres contact info on
https://www.imperial.ac.uk/mechanical-engineering/study/undergraduate/admissions-information/
if you want to check.

Fair enough, I'll check.
I'm trying hard to get the most of my final year before going to uni.

Presume youre doing your esat in the next couple of dates? If so, good luck and just try.

From an imperial perspective, they have to be able to demonstrate that theyre making admission decisions fairly, so getting people to sit the same entrance test is likely to be part of that.
