ive never had one n feel such a loser. everyone seems more mature an adult than me. everywhere there is couples. ive never felt desperate to have one. but im not good at showing emotions so it would be really awkard n embarrasing if i did have one.

Do you even want one? You shouldn't feel like you have to have a boyfriend. If you meet someone you want to go out with, you'll want to. There's no point getting a boyfriend for the sake of it.

I know many girls who are 19 and haven't had a boyfriend yet. And they are very mature. A boyfriend doesn't show you're mature, don't worry. You'll get one soon enough. Don't be sad about it, some men think it's really hot if you've "saved yourself" for them :wink:

I have never had a girlfriend, held hands with a girl or anything. I only know a few girls, one has a long term boyfriend anyway, the other is too young, asked the other 2 out and they both rejected me, so I have no hope of getting a girlfriend… :frown:

I hate myself for it, these few girls all like me ‘as a friend’, and nothing else, the story of my life, even though they say I’m apparently really nice and caring and stuff, which is exactly what I thought girls would want :s-smilie:

It’s not the norm, but I do know other people who haven’t had bf/gf. I know how hard it is to try and not feel bad about it though so don’t know what to say

Big deal. I don't have one and never will. I will only be with somebody who is serious and wants to spend the rest of his life with me, because I'm definitely not anybody's toy to play with and throw away.

This shouldn't make you feel like a loser. It should only make you feel more worth it (more of a person than an object). And no- you're NOT strange. Who said it was the norm to have one? You are free to live the way you want to, and nobody should make you feel like you're not living right.

I'm 17 and have never had a gf. Had a "gf" at 14, but that definitely does not count! I doubt I will till Uni as well, so will probs be in the same boat as you at 19 :smile:

. Go out more? I rarely go out. I was thinking that probs the girls that rarely go out would be the ones I acually want to go out with, but they're the ones you're not gonna meet!!
