Medical Elective in Kenya

Looking for Advice on Organising a Medical Elective in Kenya

Hi everyone,

I’m a fourth-year medical student from England currently planning my elective and hoping to do it in Kenya. I’ve already reached out to several major hospitals, including Aga Khan University Hospital and Nairobi Hospital, but I haven’t received any responses yet.

If anyone has experience organising an elective in Kenya or knows how best to contact these hospitals, I’d greatly appreciate your advice. Additionally, if you have recommendations for other hospitals, clinics, or organisations that are welcoming to international students, please let me know!

I’m particularly interested in gaining experience in a hospital setting rather than a GP.
