Nhs bursary

Hi

The nhs bursary you only have to pay £10605 for the three years of degree. Do you receive the nhs bursary into your account.

Hi Hsadhia,

SFE don't pay out the NHS bursary, you would need to contact them directly or speak to the financial department at your university if you require their contact details.

Thanks, Clare

Where are you going to study (England, Scotland, Wales or NI) and which funding body do you come under for student finance (SFE, SFW, SAAS, SFNI)?

Hi
England.

Hi, Nhs degree i will be studying in England.
Students studying an AHP, nursing or midwifery degree at a uni in England are entitled to the NHS Learning Support Fund (not the NHS Bursary - that is for medical students). The NHS LSF provides an annual training grant of £5,000 or £6,000 per year depending on the course (and other benefits). You need to show your eligibility for student finance to claim it. It is paid direct to the student's bank account in three instalments over the academic year.
