UCLan MSc Physiotherapy interview 2025

I recently received a MSc Physiotherapy interview invite for international applicant and I am excited because this is my top and the only choice. However, since I am not with related background, I am so worried about the questions the interviewers may ask. Can anyone experienced describe it how it was? as well as does anyone have any tips/advise?

Hi there,

Congratulations on your interview invite for our MSc Physiotherapy programme! Please try not to doubt yourself ahead of your interview as there's a reason you've received this invite. Although I haven't studied on this programme myself, I wanted to share some general interview tips that can hopefully ease your nerves.

Throughout the interview, it's important that you show your enthusiasm for the course and are listening to the interviewers questions carefully. Take your time with answering the questions and don't be afraid to ask the interviewer to repeat any questions you don't understand. Keep an eye on your body language, make sure to sit up straight and have good eye contact

It's useful to take a notebook and pen to your interview in case there is any important points you need to make note of. Also, having some questions ready is useful as you can learn more about our University and this course to see if it's the right fit for you, it also shows the interviewer that you are prepared and enthusiastic

Try to enjoy the interview. It can be easier said than done but you will interview better if you are relaxed. This is your time to show why you want to study here.

We wouldn't be able to share information on the specific questions that are asked in your interview, but there is also some really useful guidance on how you can prepare for a university interview here.

If you do have any questions at all, please let me know and I'd be happy to help 😊

Best wishes,
Sarah
Hi there,
I was interviewed on few weeks ago (on friday) but I found that a week later, the application status became unsuccessful after the next working day after the interview.
What the strange is that I haven’t received any formal notification on this.
Please tell me I still have a hope that I am being considered by the admission team….

I know there are interviews on April.
Please… 🥹🥺

I'm really sorry to hear this. I submitted my application on 16th December 2024 for the same course at UCLAN. According to the application portal, my documents were "received" on 2nd January 2025 and forwarded to the admissions team for consideration on the same day. There was then another update on 13th January 2025 to say that my application was once again forwarded to the admissions team... I still haven't heard anything. I have been quite dissatisfied with the poor communication from UCLAN, which sounds similar to your situation. Thankfully, I have been fortunate enough to receive an offer to study at another institution, so the decision from UCLAN is now inconsequential, though I would have been happy to study there.

I wish you all the best for your application. Hopefully, some clarity can be provided.

Hi there,

Thank you for your message and I'm sorry to be reading this. Being a recent graduate I can understand how much of an uncertain time it is waiting to hear back from universities. In order for me to look into this further, could you direct message us with some more information to any of our main channels. This could be our Instagram which is @unilancashire or our Facebook. If you could provide your full name, course name and your registration number please and we will look into this for you.

Many thanks,
^Zac 🙂

Hi Zac,

I really appreciate the message, but I don't need anyone to investigate this for me.
