need ideas for a physics or maths related video essay

im currently in year 12 and i do maths, physics, fmaths and German. ive taken up this project where i have to make a 5 min video essay about a SPECIFIC subtopic of a something im interested in - should be somewhat original, eg the maths behind winning Monopoly. this will be graded by oxford students.

ill probably doing maths or physics in uni so id like to do something related to that on this project, so i can talk about it when writing my personal statement.

i like space, maths, and the sea.

i dont want to delve into anything too complex as i want to be able to use some of my school subject knowledge to help build my essay. ill probably end up doing further research, but not on anything that is difficult to find on the internet.

please can someone help me come up with some initial ideas? or share good research resources?

I'm in year 13 and am doing similar alevels and am currently applying to materials science for uni. I have been interested in biomimicry so I would answer why don’t deep-sea fish get crushed ( in terms of pressure and material strength)? This takes into account multiple topics in the physics course and your interest in the sea. There is also pressure differences taken into account in space travel so you could also talk about how these adaptations could influence material science for space travel. Or you could talk about gravitational effects of the moon affects the tides. Pick a topic you like as it's fun researching out of the alevel spec and will perhaps give you an insite of what you really want to spend your years at uni studying. When you are in year 13 you don't have many chances to research stuff in your free time so enjoy it.

If you like space, would you be interested in special relativity and time dilation? The twin paradox is pretty fascinating!
